Steve McCurry Opening – “See With A Fresh Eye, Rules Kept And Broken And The Power Of Humanity Revealed.”

On September 16, 2015 in the COE Gallery of the Hickory Museum of Art, there will be a light reception for club members and friends to open the Steve McCurry exhibit being shown at the art center. The reception will be from 5:30 to 6:45 PM with a Black & White print competition of the Catawba Valley Camera Club following at 7:00. Be sure to mark this event on your calendars to see the work of one of the premier National Geographic photographers ever.

CATAWBA VALLEY CAMERA CLUB ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS

OF THE APRIL 10, 2015 IMAGE*INATION PHOTO COMPETITION

The Catawba Valley Camera Club has announced the winners of its photographic competition IMAGE*INATION at a reception at the Hickory Museum of Art.  This annual competition was open to everyone except Catawba Camera Club members.  There were two divisions:  seventeen and under and eighteen and above with cash prizes for the winners.  First, second. third and honorable mention were selected in each age group.  Also selected was the Best of Show photograph.
